Pray Gratefully

Pray Gratefully — We do this by: · Recognizing that God is with us. · Praying whenever we have a free moment. * Thanking God for our life, our health, and our family. * Praying for a loved one, a friend or anyone in need. * Praying 10 times a day, maybe 100, just say “thank you Lord” whenever you think of God. Talk to Him, He will listen. · Giving a warm heartfelt greeting to everyone we meet. * Be friendly and kind. * Ask how their day is going and then LISTEN to their response. “Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” I Thessalonians 5:17-18

What is prayer?

Prayer is the practice of the presence of God.  It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made.  Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God.  Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian.  Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope.  Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through the Son of God, Jesus our Lord.
