YOUTH FORMATION |
Anne Lloyd | email
Our Lady of the Pines welcomes everyone! and for middle school and high school aged
youth, we have many opportunities for them to be involved in the parish as well
as to get to know their peers and grow in their faith. Building positive relationships
at this age can be a comfort but also a challenge and if we can facilitate this
process through the components of a balanced, comprehensive youth ministry program,
then we hope our goal of enriching the faith of the youth of the parish as they
grow in a deeper relationship with Christ and the Church will become a reality.

CHILDRENS LITURGY
Liturgy of the Word With Children is first and foremost a worship experience. This
is a concerned and sensitive way to enable children to participate in the formal
worship experience of the community. The celebrations of these liturgies are intended
to form children in the liturgical language of the church, to nourish and guide
their spiritual growth, and to immerse them in the Word in ways that are understandable
to them. Our Lady of the Pines celebrates Liturgy of the Word with Children (ages
4-7 or until 1st Communion) on the 2nd Sunday of the month at all Masses. We encourage
the parents of those who attend Liturgy of the Word With Children to read the Scriptures
for the upcoming Sunday and talk with their children about what the Scriptures mean
to them, their family and what is God trying to tell us today.
ELEMENTARY FAITH FORMATION |

child in the parish for full participation in the sacramental and service life of
the Church. We do this in collaboration with parents, who are the primary instructors
of the faith. more

Doug and Jennifer Brummel | email
Here at OLP, we value the vocational call of everyone. Whether you are married,
single, widowed, or divorced, we are all part of our Faith Family! In this ministry
effort, we provide creative opportunities for our families of all ages and stages
to grow in God’s love together. Whether it is our family-centered Halloween
Trunk or Treat, Christmas Pageant, Living Stations, Family Game Nights, and even
Vacation Bible School, our families are seeing the value of growing in faith together!
We also strive to support, pray for and journey with those who are living in the
covenant of Matrimony. Our Dinner for Eight and Date-Night by Candle Light evenings
are great ways to enrich our marriages. This is a new and exciting area of ministry
here at OLP. We would love YOU to be a part of it!
