As Coordinator of the Voyagers children's ministry, Maggie works closely with Doug Brummel and the Faith Formation team to design and implement the programming for kindergarteners through 5th graders. Maggie is originally from Western Nebraska, where she grew up on a farm outside of Alliance. She attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, prior to earning her doctor of physical therapy degree from Creighton University in 2003. Maggie, and her husband David, began married life in Lincoln, Nebraska, before moving to Colorado Springs in 2010. They have been parishioners at Our Lady of the Pines since July of 2010, and have thoroughly enjoyed raising their three children, Lannie, Mara and Quinn, in such a faith- and fun-filled, spiritual community. Maggie has served as a volunteer for the Christmas pageant, vacation bible school, Word for Kids, as well as singing in two of the Church music groups. She is thrilled to now be serving in an even greater capacity. Maggie continues to practice physical therapy part-time at Falcon Physical Therapy in Gleneagle. When she isn't working or volunteering at church, she enjoys playing tennis, shopping and spending time with her energetic children.
